3 Reasons to Try Holeman and Finch’s New Happy Hour

We’re all about happy hours here at AE, especially when we can nom while we drank. And there’s one happy hour in particular we’re really raving about right now, and we think you will be too once you try it out. Keep reading & see why checking out Holeman and Finch’s new 5 O’Clock Shadow menu, featured Monday through Friday from 5:00pm – 7:00pm each night in the bar area, is a kick ass idea.

$1 Oysters Every Night

This one speaks for itself! We’re huge fans of oysters prepped in a variety of ways, and the fact we can get raw ones for a buck each from 5:00pm-7:00pm any night of the work week is an A++ in our book. And these are some insane oysters…we’re talking extremely fresh ones. Add some of the accompanying mignonette made with vinegar and shallots and cocktail sauce and you’re in for a true feast.

The Menu Changes

Another beauty of this happy hour is that the menu rotates based on seasonality and ingredient availability, so options are subject to change each time you visit. We sampled all of the plates below and loved each one, especially the Jalapeño Cheddarwurst & the Don Corleone cocktail with dickle rye, ciociaro, ginger, honey, lemon & Orinoco bitters. The brat had tons of flavor, especially with the accompanying housemade mustard, and the cocktail was beyond refreshing! And the GA Royal Red Shrimp Toast with tomatoes and bacon…let’s just say there aren’t many more magical things in this world than that bread soaked in the accompanying spicy creole sauce. It’s difficult to see in the photo below, but trust us…it’s life changing!

Convenient Location & Easy Access

If you’ve never been to Linton Hopkins’s gastropub, you probably don’t know that it’s situated right between Buckhead and Midtown, which is quite the central location. Easy to find since it’s right off of Peachtree and offering complimentary valet, parking is a breeze. Two huge wins in our book!

Hopefully you’re drooling now and we’ve convinced you to give Holeman and Finch’s 5 O’Clock Shadow menu a try! What are you most excited to nom on? Let us know below in the comments!
