It is certifiably chilly out there , Atlanta. Oh, and there’s this little holiday coming up. Not sure if you’ve heard…

It’s the time of year to grab your sweetheart and cozy up on a date night. So whether it’s your 1st or 50th date, here are you best bets when you want a night on the town with your sweetie.

St. Cecilia

Ford Fry has opened some of the most beautiful restaurants in the city. And his latest is no exception. St. Cecilia has become the hottest table in town with it’s stunning interior and a menu to match.  Grab a seat near one of the wall to ceiling windows and enjoy a romantic night to the twinkling lights of the city.

Boccalupo

Have you ever wanted to recreate that famous scene from Lady & The Tramp? No, not with the siamese cats. The other one. Have you ever wanted to recreate it using squid ink pasta? Us too! Well, in that case, head to the little Inman Park gem. The food is out of this world and the cocktails are almost unmatched. And if you order the pasta sampler, you’ll have plenty of chances to practice your best Lady & The Tramp impersonation.

Barcelona Wine Bar

Sharing is caring, right? Well, you’ll certainly impress your partner when you demonstrate all those Kindergarten era lessons while sharing tapas like albondigas and olives. And if you head over for a Monday funday (that’s a thing, right?) , you can enjoy 1/2 off bottles of vino!

Canoe

Situated right on the banks of the Chattahoochee River, this restaurant is, in one word, stunning. Not to the level as your date obviously (hint: be sure to mention that), but stunning nonetheless. Nosh on rabbit, sip on champagne and dream about your future riverside home.

H. Harper Station

Let’s say you are on a ‘is it or isn’t it’ group date/setup. Head over to H. Harper Station, order a punch for everyone to share and just wait for the sparks to fly. With a wall full of bourbon (literally) and the bartender’s intricate mustache, ice breakers should never be a problem.

The Porter Beer Bar

Are you dating a beer geek? Are you trying to impress your date by pretending to be a bar geek? Then, get thee to The Porter! With over 800 beers and a world class menu, this is the spot when you want to experiment…with beer. And bonus: there are no tv’s to distract your ADD boyfriend during football season.

Bistro Niko

What’s more romantic than a night in Paris? If you can’t quite justify that plane ticket, then head over to Bistro Niko. There’s a beautiful bar and a gorgeous patio (you know for those 75 degree Fall days in Atlanta). And the food? Whether the charcuterie Grand Platter is your thing, or Herb Goat Cheese Ravioli, Shrimp En Brique or Steak Au Poivre, there is a classic French dish to match your palate.

La Tavola

This neighborhood gem in Virginia Highland is an absolute delight. It’s cozy and romantic and everything you want in a date night. Piles of beautifully made pasta dishes accompany a wine list that is filled with classics and new tastes that you’ll fall in love with. And, who says you need to have a date night at, well, night? La Tavola has one of the best brunches in town.
