At Atlanta Eats, we…well…eat. A lot. And each week, we’re sharing the dishes that stand out the most.

If you want to show off your culinary prowess, be sure to tag us on Twitter at @AtlantaEatsTV and use #BestThingIAte. If we choose your submission, you’ll win dinner for 2 at one of our favorite places in town!

  • It doesn't get much better than a fried chicken biscuit with a fried egg and bacon jam. Yup, bacon jam. We found this beauty at Cypress Street.
  • Goldberg's provided a much needed Sunday brunch spread for a team meeting this week. The bagels are, as always, amazing. But a new find is the chicken salad. It's no joke.
  • Lazy afternoons should always be filled with chips and guacamole. These were devoured (very quickly) at El Myriachi. And that salsa? Next time it should be served with a spoon, it was so good!
  • We were lucky enough to be invited to An afternoon in the Country at Serenbe to raise money for Les Dammes d'Escoffier. There isn't enough space on the internet to describe all the amazing dishes. Suffice it to say, go ahead and save the date for next year!
  • One of our favorite hidden jewels is a sushi spot in Smyrna called Minato. And one of the off menu items inspires nightly cravings. It is the Cowgirl Hat - crab salad and spicy tuna on top of a crispy rice cracker.
