Best Things We Ate at Atlanta Street Food Festival

BTWATW_Blog1c

You could say it’s always a feeding frenzy at Atlanta Eats’ HQ, but to us it’s just another hard day’s work. We’re sharing the best things we ate last week to give you some food inspiration for the week ahead. Check out AtlantaEatsTv on InstagramFacebook, and Twitter for a constant stream of pictures if this doesn’t quite cure your food porn fix…

This week we focus on food trucks, in honor of surviving the blazing hot temperatures at Atlanta Street Food Festival Saturday, July 11th.

Nectar

If you want fresh, satisfying, and guilt-free, Nectar is the truck for you. We are no longer hesitant for the health-conscious menu. Everything was full of flavor and totally crave- worthy. We loved all their paninis- especially the chipotle chicken and chicken pesto (below). Their ginger lemonade hit the spot on this scorcher of a Georgia Saturday.

Ibiza Bites

Their menu has changed quite a bit since our last run around the food truck block. The good thing is, Ibiza Bites is still one of the most popular food-on-wheels with a top- notch menu selection. We were in the mood for fried food, so we opted for lemon parmesan waffle fries and fried green tomatoes. Next time you’re in the heat we recommend their watermelon caprese salad!

Tasting Maine

Lobster rolls are to Atlanta Eats’ as a swimming pool is to summer. A nice hot buttered bun overfilled with chunks of lobster meat transports you to a world of happiness and incredible flavor. (Check out our Instagram here.) Tasting Maine was just one of the many food trucks serving up lobster rolls this go-around, but it certainly gave us the most bang for our buck.
