Best Thing We Ate Last Week

BTWATW_Blog1c

You could say it’s always a feeding frenzy at Atlanta Eats’ HQ, but to us it’s just another hard day’s work. We’re sharing the best things we ate last week to give you some food inspiration for the week ahead. Check out AtlantaEatsTV on InstagramFacebook, and Twitter for a constant stream of pictures if this doesn’t quite cure your food porn fix…

Mac-n-Cheese from DBA Barbecue (Virginia-Highland)

If you’re looking for that ooey, gooey compliment to your BBQ platter, grab a side of Mac-n-cheese from DBA. It has the perfect consistency of creaminess with a strong cheesy flavor working throughout. The only imperfection- it should be the same serving size as their XL salads!

Bibimbap from Breakers Express BBQ (Conyers)

Just a hop and a skip from Downtown Atlanta lies the most creative dining concept ever to land in Conyers…Breakers Express BBQ! We love trying all their unique Korean BBQ entrees, but the bibimbap is where they really shine. Think of it this way- Chipotle burrito bowl minus the E. Coli plus Korean flare and an extraordinary presentation. Our bibimbap starts with a layer of white rice, cooked vegetables, bulgogi beef and a fried egg!

Freeze Cream (Roswell)

Watch out world- there is a new dessert hot (or should we say cold?) off the block! This creative confection is fun, delicious, fresh and pretty healthy- it’s called Freeze Cream! Owners Nicole and Douglas serve up portions created with milk (coconut or regular) then add in fruit and toppings once it freezes. The whole concoction is rolled up and stacked in each cup. This is a MUST TRY! Nicole and Douglas are filled with light and positivity and their desserts are sure to brighten your day!
