Best Things We Ate Last Week
You could say it’s always a feeding frenzy at Atlanta Eats’ HQ, but to us it’s just another hard day’s work. We’re sharing the best things we ate last week to give you some food inspiration for the week ahead. Check out AtlantaEatsTV on Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter for a constant stream of pictures if this doesn’t quite cure your food porn fix…
Garlic Knots from Ippolito’s (Sandy Springs)
There are garlic rolls and then there are the pillows of Parmesan, garlic and hot stretchy dough that melt in your mouth from Ippolito’s. If you’re going to splurge on bread- you’ve got to try the latter. They are a cult favorite and have never disappointed. One is never enough. Try a basket or two from an Ippolito’s in your neighborhood!
Fried Chicken from Buckhead Diner (Buckhead)
Buckhead Diner has stepped up their classic menu once again! Famous for their fried chicken, now a modern diner can order it to-go! Buckets of fried chicken are available Wednesdays and Fridays as long as you place your order 24 hours in advance. Their chicken is so crunchy and savory we have a feeling you’ll be placing your orders closer to weeks and months ahead…
Lobster Truffle Mac N Cheese from Hal’s on Old Ivy (Buckhead)
Hal’s on Old Ivy has been the place for quality steaks in Buckhead for as long as we can remember. Not to discount the fabulous flavor of their signature filet, but that lobster truffle Mac n cheese is now our reigning champion for best side dish. Hal’s never skimps on portion sizes or flavor- they keep it simple yet hit you with rich flavor intensity so hard, you’ve never tasted anything like it.
