You could say it’s always a feeding frenzy at Atlanta Eats’ HQ, but to us it’s just another hard day’s work. We’re sharing the best things we ate last week to give you some food inspiration for the week ahead. Check out AtlantaEatsTV oInstagramFacebook, and Twitter for a constant stream of pictures if this doesn’t quite cure your food porn fix…

Avocado Ball at MF Sushi (Inman Park)

There is sushi, and then there is MF Sushi! New to the Inman Park community of sleek and trendy spots, MF is adjusting just fine. From their atmosphere to cocktails to the 3 orders of avocado balls I ordered, MF Sushi is a grand slam and a rare breed of delectable. You CANNOT miss the avocado balls (whether tuna or salmon, does not matter). Even if you’re not an avocado aficionado, your mind and your mouth will be changed after this delicious concoction of savory, spicy and silencing.

Mac N Cheese from Smoke Ring (Downtown)

It’s hard to have a bad Mac N Cheese experience, but ordering a dish that goes above and beyond the standard Mac is something different altogether. The kicker with Smoke Ring’s side dish is the melted layer of Cheddar on top. It makes the dish visually appealing and adds a stringy texture to the top. Totally satisfying and worth the whole trip to Smoke Ring.

Plantains from Alma Cocina (Downtown)

Fried plantains come few and far between in Atlana’s restaurant scene. Got to get them while they’re hot at Alma Cocina! They are served with queso fresco to cut the sweetness and combine for a unique flavor.
