One could say it’s always a feeding frenzy at Atlanta Eats’ HQ, but to us, it’s just another hard day at work. We’re showcasing the best things we ate last week to give you some food inspiration for the week ahead. Check out AtlantaEatsTV on Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter for a constant stream of food porn if this post doesn’t quite cure your fix.
Sesame Ahi Tuna Salad from Houck’s (Roswell)
Just look at this beauty…how could you not want to eat it?! This specialty item off Houck’s menu is both healthy AND delicious. A generous portion of seared & sliced ahi tuna is carefully placed over miso-chive Asian slaw and accompanied with julienne carrots, a fried wonton & cilantro, then drizzled with wasabi cream and soy glaze. And yeah, the flower is ginger, so it’s not just for show…you can eat it, too! If you’re watching your waistline but don’t want to give up tasty food, this dish is definitely a must try.
Cajun Fried Ribs from Foggy Bottom BBQ (Loganville)
Fried ribs…need we say more? These are fall off the bone good! Served as an appetizer, get an order of these before you dig into your main meal at this Loganville gem. Or heck, make it your own meal…we sure could! And when we say these are insanely delicious, we really mean it!
Strawberry Milkshake from Thumbs Up Diner (Roswell, Douglasville, Edgewood, East Point, Marietta & Decatur)
Let’s forget about this crazy cold snap Atlanta is experiencing and order food and drinks that make us feel like it’s summer time! Thumbs Up Diner’s Strawberry Milkshake is just what the doctor ordered. Thick, creamy and served in a big ol’ glass, your tastebuds will be over joyed after a sip of this bad boy. And just look at all that whip cream…heavenly! End your breakfast, brunch or lunch at the diner with one of these or their chocolate shake, both are definitely grand finales!
