Best Thing We Ate Last Week: Vegas Edition

BTWATW_Blog1c

You could say it’s always a feeding frenzy at Atlanta Eats’ HQ, but to us it’s just another hard day’s work. We’re sharing the best things we ate last week to give you some food inspiration for the week ahead. Check out AtlantaEatsTv on InstagramFacebook, and Twitter for a constant stream of pictures if this doesn’t quite cure your food porn fix…

Amber Jack Sashimi from Raku

They say sushi is art, but Raku exclusively creates dishes that double as painters palettes. Everything on each of Raku’s dishes has purpose and aesthetically pleasing placement. This 30-seat restaurant is off the strip and will guarantee a unique Vegas experience.

Chicken Parmesan from Buddy V’s

For a casual Italian eatery within the Venetian, it’s not expected to have some of the most divine chicken parm of your life. Well, Cake Boss must really know what he’s doing when he’s not in his bakery because this dish was outstanding. The chicken was butterflied, breaded and smothered in a delicious blend of rich Italian cheeses. We alternated bites between this and al dente spaghetti that we wish we could have brought home with us.

Giant Fortune Cookie from Tao

Amazingly enough, one of the standout dishes from this Asian restaurant, is dessert. Tao’s fortune cookie is a quintessential order whether you’re in Vegas or one of their New York locations. It’s oversized, dipped in chocolate and filled with 1/2 vanilla and 1/2 chocolate whipped cream. What’s not to love?!

Sao Paolo Roll and Nigiri from Sushi Samba

Sushi Samba is equal parts chic and delicious. Everything is fresh and even the lobster is served live after a quick boil! The Sao Paolo roll is a decadent combination of scallop, masago, red onion, tuna, salmon, shrimp, yellowtail, avocado, truffle, hacho miso soy and chive oil. We wouldn’t steer you wrong!

Cheeseburger from In-n-out Burger

It wouldn’t be a trip to the west without a little In-n-Out. We were too full for a double double animal style, but hey, at least we got a burger down after all of this amazing food!
