Atlanta Eats’ Lands Daily Special on CBS/Peachtree TV

Steak Shapiro to bring Atlanta foodies deliciously entertaining restaurant stories seven days a week

ATLANTA (September 7, 2017) – Beginning September 11, Atlantans can enjoy ‘Atlanta Eats: Daily Special’ every Monday through Friday on Peachtree TV at 9:30am! The weekday program will join its existing weekend time slot on Saturdays at 7pm and Sundays at 10:30am.

CBS tapped the Atlanta Eats team to produce the show seven days a week to satiate viewers’ desire for more restaurant stories from neighborhood haunts. Popular among television, radio and digital audiences, the Atlanta Eats team is known for providing a hearty helping of mouth-watering restaurant reviews, dining recommendations and must-try tips from hidden gems to iconic favorites around Atlanta.

“We are excited to turn Atlanta Eats into a daily show,” said Mark Pimentel, Vice President of CBS46 and Peachtree TV. “Atlanta Eats tells the story of food in Atlanta unlike anything else; it is the perfect companion show to ‘Atlanta Plugged In’ which will lead into Atlanta Eats Monday through Friday.”

Created in 2012, ‘Atlanta Eats’ began as a one-hour program airing Saturdays and Sundays on Peachtree TV, and quickly became the second most watched show in all of Atlanta TV in that time slot.

Along with Steak Shapiro, hosts include ‘Atlanta Eats’ radio show host Mara Davis, CBS46 traffic reporter Julie Smith and tech specialist Titania Jordan.
