TERRAPIN BEER DINNER

Tuesday, March 7 | 12:00 noon | Drift Fish House & Oyster Bar

Craft brews from the local Terrapin Beer Co. are the focus of this five course dinner. The menu features cold-smoked oysters, steak tartare, cornmeal-fried oysters, wood and spice grilled tuna, oatmeal stout braised pork cheeks, and rhubarb buckle with pop seed buttermilk ice cream… & each course is perfectly paired with one of Terrapin’s beloved brews!

SETTING THE BAR: A CRAFT CHOCOLATE ORIGIN STORY

Tuesday, March 7 | 7:00pm | Atlanta Botanical Garden

Enjoy a special preview of director Tim Shepard’s documentary Setting the Bar: A Craft Chocolate Origin Story, hosted by the film’s stars and co-owners of the Xocolatl Small Batch Chocolate, Elaine Read and Matt Weyandt. Read and Weyandt will speak about creating sustainable, artisanal chocolate in a gorgeous setting at the Atlanta Botanical Gardens. Tickets are FREE and no reservations are required.

TIME IN THE WINE MAKING PROCESS

Wednesday, March 8 | 7:00pm | The Savvy Cellars

The latest class in Savvy Cellar’s Ground to Grape wine education series, TIME in the Wine Making Process, will educate guests about how time affects wine, from press to barrel to bottle. During the class, you’ll enjoy samples of wine that will enhance your experience, as well as some carefully selected light bites.

COCKTAILS & COMEDY

Thursday, March 9 | 9:30pm | The Pinewood

Decatur’s neighborhood hotspot will be transforming into a comedy club on Thursday nights, starting this week! Check out a hysterical act from Comedy Central’s David Perdue, with more of the country’s best comedians on deck in the weeks to come.

ORIN SWIFT CELLARS WINE DINNER

Friday, March 10 |  6:30pm  |  Ray’s at Killer Creek

A four course dinner is for amateurs. A five course dinner is just fine. But six courses? Yeah that’s what we’re talking about. Mike Fuller, the executive chef at Ray’s at Killer Creek, has prepared six courses that pair perfectly with various vintages from California’s Orin Swift Cellars. From oysters and pickled shrimp to duck prosciutto, Kobe beef ribeye, Colorado lamb and Mexican chocolate tiramisu, this is no ordinary wine dinner.

ATLANTA BRUNCH FESTIVAL

We’ve said it before and we’ll say it again: we don’t trust a person who doesn’t like brunch. This festival is a celebration of everything that makes brunch so great, with participation from Atlanta’s best brunch restaurants…and the dishes they do best!
