Best Things We Ate Last Week

btwalw_600x400

You could say it’s always a feeding frenzy at Atlanta Eats’ HQ, but to us it’s just another hard day’s work. We’re sharing the best things we ate last week to give you some food inspiration for the week ahead. Check out AtlantaEatsTV on InstagramFacebook, and Twitter for a constant stream of pictures if this doesn’t quite cure your food porn fix…

Avocado Toast from Joy Cafe (Midtown)

Avocado Toast from Joy Cafe

We’re so happy that Joy Cafe is open again after four months of being closed! Now situated in Midtown, we finally got a chance to try out the new location and some of its beautiful, decadent plates. In case you weren’t aware, the AVOToast craze is still in full swing, and this one is queen of the brunch since it’s absolutely Instaworthy. We’re not shallow though…we care about what’s on the inside & how it tastes! And this baby’s ingredients reign supreme. The ripe and creamy avocado, crumbled goat cheese, poached egg and chopped cherry tomatoes are healthy and delicious. Start your day off right & pair it with a mimosa or wine flights!

The Meatstick from One Eared Stag (Old Fourth Ward)

Burger from One Eared Stag

If you’re feeling particularly hipster and trendy, One Eared Stag in Old Fourth Ward is right up your alley. The Meatstick is kind of on the menu, but it lacks a description. While it may not be described in fine print, the dish certainly speaks for itself…it’s so colossal that it needs a knife in it! The double stack burger is beyond juicy & has cheese layered on both patties, making for an extra savory treat. And don’t forget the extra crispy fries!

Bento Box from ROOM At Twelve (Centennial Park)

Bento Box from Room at Twelve

Bento Boxes have been cool for like 12 years now, and we’re pretty sure they aren’t gonna stop being awesome anytime soon. This particular box from ROOM at Twelve is a pack leader. Our favorite part was the teriyaki salmon, although you can switch it out for teriyaki chicken if you prefer, which is also delicious! Accompanied by edamame, choice of sushi (Spicy Tuna or California), ginger salad & kimchi, those that go for variety are in for the dish of their dreams.
