One could say it’s always a feeding frenzy at Atlanta Eats’ HQ, but to us, it’s just another hard day at work. We’re showcasing the best things we ate last week to give you some food inspiration for the week ahead. Check out AtlantaEatsTV on InstagramFacebook, and Twitter for a constant stream of food porn if this post doesn’t quite cure your fix.

Buttermilk Fried Chicken from Southern Art (Buckhead)

Many things come to mind when one thinks of the South, and fried chicken is absolutely one of them. When you want a crazy good dinner full of southern charm, try Southern Art. The Buttermilk Fried Chicken is hands-down one of the best dishes they have. Crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, the buttermilk batter makes all the difference! Served on a bed of whipped potatoes and garlic green beans, you will be 100 percent stuffed and 100 percent happy. The last ingredient? Red pepper gravy, of course!

El Pavo Del Ocho from Lotta Frutta (Old 4th Ward)

When we talk sammies, we mean business. Just kick back and relax when you walk into Lotta Frutta because you’ll be enjoying the atmosphere and killer sammies in no time. The El Pavo Del Ocho features tender, roasted turkey complimented by Lotta Frutta’s signature sauce. Melted on top is a classic slice of Swiss, all inside of a sweet and savory Latin bun. We think you will love it!

Shepherd’s Pie from Salt Factory (Roswell)

Let’s face it, Shepherd’s Pie has been around town for a long time. Finding one that stands out in the crowd can be a challenge. Rest assured, Salt Factory has a kick ass one! After braising a leg of lamb, pearl onions and corn are added to this house favorite. The fresh green peas, rosemary demi, and the cheddar potato puree combine for an outstanding dish. Know that once you try the Shepard’s Pie at Salt Factory, there’s no going back!
