Alright mom and dads, it’s that time of the year. Time to make a date with Santa Clause. And what better way to do that than over waffles and eggs? Oh, and a little spiked hot chocolate for the grownups?  This year, Atlanta restaurants are making it easy for you by combining Atlanta’s favorite past time – brunch, with that visit to Old St. Nick. Here are our picks!

Southern Art will turn into a Winer Wonderland at the annual children’s holiday party with Santa…and snow! On Sunday, December 7 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., bring the kids to to decorate gingerbread cookies, get their pictures taken with Santa and his reindeer and grown ups can indulge in a delicious hot chocolate bar with adult-only selections.  And yes, it will be a white Christmas, with a snow machine adding to the festivities. Admission is $10 per child, and guests who dine at Southern Art for brunch on December 7 will receive complimentary admission to the event. Wahoo Grill is celebrating  Christmas with Brunch with Santa! On Saturday, December 13, beginning at 10 a.m. chow down on a  brunch buffet and children can have their photos taken with Santa himself! This is a BYOC (bring your own camera) shindig. Brunch with Santa is $22 for adults and $14 for children, little ones three and under are free. Common Quarter Stop by this East Cobb neighborhood gem for a visit with the big man. On Sunday, December 7th, kids and adults alike can enjoy a brunch buffet with everything from cheddar scrambled eggs, chocolate chip pancakes with peppermint whipped cream, and so much more! Livingston Restaurant On December 14 and 21, Livingston will be  hosting a Santa Brunch with a buffet full of Southern favorites. And of course Santa himself will be stopping by from 12 p.m. until 3 p.m. A professional photographer will be on site to capture holiday memories. Printed photographs will be available for purchase for $5. Brunch is $30 for adults, $15 for children 12 & under and be free for children under 3. St. Regis Children’s Tea with Santa Get your Sunday best on, because it’s time to have tea with St. Nick! And Mrs.Clause will be sharing in the hosting duties. There will be plenty of time to share your wish lists and chat with the North Pole couple, as this will be a leisurely tea. Offered November 28th through 30th, December 5th through 7th and December 11th through 24th from 2pm – 5p. Tea With Santa is $59 per adult and $52 per child.

Avalon The newest  development in Alpharetta will be getting a visit from the jolly man this year.  Santa Claus will be hosting a delicious breakfast at Goldberg’s, including a breakfast buffet and drinks. And you can even visit Santa in his workshop for some more time to get your wishes in.  Call  770-765-1000 to purchase tickets. Cost for children (13 and under is $10.00 and adults is $15.00.

Bantam and Biddy The Ansley Mall restaurant is throwing a breakfast with with Santa on Sunday, December 7 from 9 to 10:30 a.m. For $35 per person, guests can choose from a ham and cheese quiche with fruit, chicken cheddar biscuit with home fries or challah French toast with honey butter, Steen’s cane syrup and bacon. Assorted pastries, croissants, holiday treats, juice, coffee and tea are also included. A souvenir photo with Santa is printed on site to take home at no extra cost. Buckhead Diner  Who wouldn’t want to see Santa show up in a fire truck?!  Santa will arrive at 9 a.m. along with firefighters from Atlanta Fire Department’s Station 21. Kids can tour the fire truck while waiting their turn to visit with Santa themselves. There will also be face-painting from Magic Man Entertainment and table-side visits from Santa’s elves, Rudolf the Red-Nosed Reindeer and ballerinas from the Atlanta Ballet Company’s production of The Nutcracker. For breakfast, kids can nosh on chocolate chip waffles and bacon. Grown ups will have the choice of grilled ham, steak egg Benedict, asparagus and parmesan grits. Village Tavern Alpharetta’s Village Tavern will be hosting it’s 13th annual Breakfast with Santa December 13 and December 20. Both mornings will kick off at 9 a.m., as Santa arrives in a fire truck. Brunch will include favorites like  crab cake benedict, brie and bacon omeletsFrench toast with four thick slices of bread dipped in cinnamon-egg. Every child will meet Santa personally. This is a BYOC event, so parents are asked to bring their own cameras. Santa will also read “The Night Before Christmas” at 11 a.m. Breakfast with Santa is from 9 a.m. to noon. Space is limited; reservations are required and can be made by calling 770.777.6490.
