Would you ever imagine that one of the best restaurants in the city would be at…the airport? Well, head over to concourse E at Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport in Atlanta. There, you’ll find One Flew South, the first upscale dining experience at one of the busiest airports in the world. The menu features high-end cocktails, sushi, as well as some classic southern flavors.
Atlanta Eats’ Steak Shapiro went down to the airport to catch up with One Flew South’s Head Chef Duane Nutter to learn more about his much-raved-about restaurant. To explain just how much the restaurant has taken off, Duane explained that people are “starting to reschedule their flights now” just so they can end up at Hartsfield-Jackson with enough time to sit down for a meal. While the dishes encompass local ingredients of Atlanta, Duane is serving them up to people from every city. One Flew South is a trendsetter in their upscale airport-dining concept is changing the way airport dining is perceived. People from all over the world are now acknowledging Atlanta’s Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport’s top notch cuisine.
