Mara Davis Joins the Bert Show to Talk ATL Rooftops

Delicious chicken available at Tuk Tuk near Atlantic Station

Mara Davis joined the Bert Show this week just as the summer comes to a close and Atlanta’s rooftops cool down. Listen below for her latest tips or reach out to her at @maradavis on twitter and @maradavis2000 on Instagram for tips.

“I gotta be honest people contact me and I love it and I have an order of the top 3 things people have been asking me lately. Best rooftop bars. Best brunches…mimosa…bottomless (mock voice)! And then the other one is date night on a budget – ‘I really want seafood and steak, but I don’t want to spend a lot of money’.”

“Rooftops – people are just going bonkers over rooftops. As the weather’s getting cooler, we’re going into the fall – pumpkin spice season. Tuk Tuk Thai loft which is in South Buckhead. This is a great Thai street food place. They have the most underrated patio – it’s a whole view of the Atlanta midtown skyline.”

“Hotel Clermont – I’ve talked about this a lot. Ponce City Market, 9 Mile Station – the best views there, right? So incredible. You want to see some crazy people? Little Five Points, the Corner Tavern – Halloween parade is coming up. There’s nothing cookier than Little Five – it’s great, every time you go. New Realm Brewery on the Beltline – their rooftop patio is out of bounds. The belt line is the best – take people from out of town there, it’s great.”

Mara mentions other great rooftops including:
The Glenn Hotel in Downtown Atlanta
Prime Meridian in Omni Hotel
Mediterranea in Grant Park
Overdrive Lounge in the Porsche Experience Center complex
Barley Garden in the Avalon
Fado Irish Pub in Buckhead
