It feels like you just got all the extended family out of the house just to do it all over again in a month. Mara joined the Bert Show recently to talk about great excursions while you have guests in town, and some of the restaurants nearby to get a bite. Click play to listen to Mara on the Bert Show!

“I think a hike up Kennesaw Mountain is a really fun thing to do. I love the rotisserie shop, you can go to lunch afterwards there, after you’ve burned off all those calories doing that.”

“Nick and Norman’s which is in Senoia – I finally got to eat there, it’s really cool. It’s like a little Southern Hollywood in that town, I think that’s a neat little day trip.”

“Buford Highway of course – try Food Terminal. Do something different – go to a farmer’s market, go to little Chinatown there. I think it’s a great way to have your out of town guests see Atlanta. And if you have to do Southern, Southern food at Mary Mac’s or maybe Revival is a great way to get a slice of the south.”
