Top 5 Places To Eat & Drink For St. Patrick’s Day In Atlanta

It’s time to gear up in all green and celebrate St. Patrick’s Day! We like to complement each Irish Car Bomb/Jagermeister/Irish whiskey shot we take with a traditional Irish food… so we decided to pair them up for each party destination! Our top five places to celebrate Saint Patty’s in Atlanta will not steer you wrong- enjoy the weekday festivities!

Johnny’s Hideaway (Buckhead)

When you think Johnny’s Hideaway, St. Patrick’s Day is probably not the first thought to come to mind, but this year it should be! They are serving complimentary corned beef and Irish shooters to spice up the celebrations Thursday!

Yard House (Atlantic Station)

Yard House has an Irish menu starting Monday, 3/14, so go grab a bite on the big holiday! Some stand-outs on their menu we’re going to try: Shepard’s Pie (upgraded by marinating beef sirloin in Guinness beer, baked with roasted garlic mashed potatoes in puff pastry) and a heck of a lot of Dublin Mules (aka Jameson Irish Whiskey with ginger citrus agave, ginger ale and Guinness Irish Stout).

Fado (Buckhead & Midtown)

“Paddy Hard Saint Patrick’s Day” at Fado! The celebration begins Saturday, March 12th with love music and Irish dancers, but round 2 goes down Thursday the 17th. They’re open until 2 a.m. so you have plenty of time to throw down some Irish Car Bombs (Irish cream & Irish whiskey poured into Irish Stout) & Guinness BBQ Wings after the workday.

Meehan’s (Buckhead, Atlantic Station, Downtown, Sandy Springs & Vinings)

We can’t list Irish festivities without including Meehan’s! Stop by one of their 5 concepts for classic dishes like Traditional Irish Breakfast with bangers, mash, grilled tomato, Irish soda bread, baked beams and black and white pudding then wash it down with a smooth shot of Jameson!

Zucca Bar & Pizzeria (Smyrna)

The party starts Thursday afternoon at Zucca! And by party, we mean the bar is stocked with Guinness, Harp and Irish Car Bombs. Make sure to order a specialty pizza (you can’t go wrong with their Chicken Parmesan or Sicilian Pie) to soak it all up. A portion of proceeds ($5 for a 1 day ticket) will benefit the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s Team in Training!
