Rodney’s Jamaican Soul Food

Being that this is the South, when we think soul food we probably think of those high-sodium proteins, butter-laced sides, and over-cooked green veggies.

Jamaican soul food shares some of those characteristics, and backs them up with a whole lot of heat. From jerk spices to curry flavors, from oxtail to king fish and red snapper, it’s the subtle differences between the Montego Bay and Marietta that get locals setting sail for Rodney’s Jamaican Soul Food in Smyrna.

Rodney himself trained under Wolfgang Puck, and has worked at the Sundial at the top of the Westin Hotel, and Livingston in the Georgian Terrace Hotel, so you know he’s got the skills so create some really tasty dishes.
