As Senior Director of Digital Content, you’ll be responsible for creating and managing all online content (out of our Buckhead office) at a growing multi-media venture that everyone is talking about. The Senior Director of Digital Content will be strategic, resourceful, detail oriented and organized, as they are tasked with spreading the good word about Atlanta Eats, generating an online community of people that love to dine out, and setting the strategy of our social media and website content.

About the Job:

  • Create and own the strategy, plan and execution of all digital properties for Atlanta Eats – social media, website, SEO and email.
  • Maintain & grow our social media profiles and presence including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube and potentially new additional channels.
  • Develop editorial guidelines, calendars and systems for generating social media content every day.
  • Measure and report performance of all digital marketing campaigns and assess against goals & KPIs.
  • Brainstorm new and creative growth strategies that focus on increasing social following, engagement, website traffic and page-views.
  • Keep the sales and production teams up-to-date with the latest trends in social, digital and content & coach them on execution.
  • Understand design and brand standards and keep consistent tone, language and visual look across multiple platforms with multiple contributors.
  • Populate Atlanta Eats multiple digital media touch points (Website, Blog, Weekly Email, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and Snapchat) with regular/ongoing content.
  • Engage and grow the Atlanta Eats online community through timely, relevant, entertaining features and out-of-the-box ideas.
  • Plan ahead strategically and proficiently, creating/managing editorial calendar
  • Work with food influencers to get Atlanta Eats content distributed on various local/regional/national platforms.
  • Maximize synergies between television show and digital platforms by driving TV audience online and online community to view our TV show.
  • Work with the Atlanta Eats sales team to ideate, create, and fulfill client driven programs & campaigns.
  • Experience & expertise in food photography and videography
  • Work with website development team on: Search engine optimization of site copy, meta-tagging of page elements, editing, write/proof weekly episodic content, etc.
  • Network with local restaurants, maintain relationships with chefs in order to be an outlet to promote the industry and the local Atlanta dining scene (the Atlanta Eats mission statement is to get more people to eat out more often).
  • Eat. Eat. Eat. The Atlanta restaurant scene is vast and ever changing. Part of the position, “market research” as we’ll call it, is knowing the restaurants and restaurateurs around town.
  • Must have a passion for writing and ability to write copy in a highly efficient, authentic, fun, and organic tone.

  • A 4-year college degree is required.
  • 3-5 years experience in marketing/social media
  • Working knowledge of WordPress, Google Analytics, and Constant Contact is required. Experience with Facebook Business Manager, light photo & video editing software is highly preferred.

Atlanta Eats | Bread n Butter Productions

The Sales & Marketing associate will support the sales team for Atlanta Eats and Bread n Butter Content Studio. The associate will play a critical part in the flow of projects by assisting the sales team in all aspects of the sales cycle. Some of the work includes creating proposals, working with the production/social media team to ensure that all commitments and deliverables are executed in a timely fashion. The person hired for this position will be a self-starter, incredibly detail orientated and able to work and complete tasks on time, with little to no supervision. In addition, they’ll have a strong position on deep dish vs. thin crust and favorite ice cream flavor.


  • Research and compile data on various industries & clients – Assist with the creation of sales templates / client proposals
  • Assist with the process of initiating projects post close, supporting AE’s to ensure timely and organized pre-production, and filming
  • Execute client programs & proposals, develop objectives & deliverables into comprehensive social, digital & broadcast programs. Ultimately implementing programs on behalf of Account Executive
  • Write extensive, in some cases all, copy for client programs & initiatives
  • this can range from short social copy to longer form, editorial
  • Recite personal top 10 favorite BBQ spots in Atlanta and be able to back up why
  • Build relationships with & interface with client / agency contacts to traffic creative to all appropriate internal departments
  • Upon program completion, associate will provide recaps of programs, chronicling all aspects of media airing, logs, proof of performance; working with all necessary departments to obtain materials
  • Input & keep accurate client related information, into CRM software
  • Assist Account Executives with on-going client maintenance & miscellaneous needs

Background / Requirements / Misc:

  • Candidate must employ the highest levels of detail, time efficiency, and above all else the successful candidate will be able to execute client programs in a deadline driven, self-starter manner
  • College degree required, internships in related fields and prior experience a plus
  • Must be an outgoing, team player
  • Must know how to efficiently navigate a Chinese takeout menu
  • High proficiency with Microsoft Excel & Microsoft Powerpoint
  • Strong understanding of social media (Facebook, Twitter & Instagram) required
  • Basic understanding of the media business & traditional media / broadcast channels (TV, radio, print, etc)

We expect a lot from our interns, including editing, some graphic design experience, a passion for production and interest in marketing and event coordination. In return, we promise you valuable hands-on experience working on a fast-paced, market-leading television show, introductions to some of the most influential culinary personalities in the city, a few free lunches, and some credits for school.

Here’s the scoop. You’ll be doing the following:

  • Acting as the point of contact with local restaurant partners that are featured on Atlanta Eats. Responsibilities include coordinating social media efforts, contests, soliciting feedback, etc.
  • Responsible for coordinating on-going marketing & PR efforts, including TV appearances, event marketing/festivals, print marketing deadlines, etc.
  • Helping with social media efforts on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and YouTube that follow a strategic editorial calendar, monitor all feeds and respond when appropriate, research, identify and contact influencers in the restaurant space across channels, etc.
  • Assisting with general office duties including answering phones, participating in meetings/brainstorms, processing paperwork, conducting research, prize fulfillment, etc.

  • The position will require work on nights and weekends
