Goin’ Coastal

If there’s one minus point to be made about Atlanta’s dining, it’s that we’re far enough away from the coast that fresh-off-the-boat seafood is something we just don’t have access to. We do have the next best thing, though, and Goin’ Coastal is one – actually, it’s two – of the premier seafood restaurants in the metro area.
With locations in Virginia-Highland, and in a historic neighborhood in downtown Canton, Goin’ Coastal hauls in influences from all over the world for its menu. Whether it’s a Low-Country Shrimp Boil or Jumbo Lump Crab Salad or Tuna Poke, Goin’ Coastal treats regional cuisines with reverence and celebrates the flavors and styles that can be found in the Carolinas, the Gulf coast, or Hawaii.

Highlights

Tuna Miso

Tuna Miso from Goin' Coastal

Fresh tuna sits on a bed of fresh spinach, shiitake mushrooms, bok choy, carrots and red pepper, and is braised with miso broth. It’s so delicious that you don’t feel like youre sacrificing by being healthy!

Seared Scallops

Seared Scallops from Goin' Coastal

Large scallops are pan seared to a beautiful tenderness. Then, the seared scallops are laid over a white truffle pesto risotto, finished with truffle oil. This dish is a crowd favorite!

Espresso Crusted Ribeye

Espresso Crusted Ribeye

If you’re not feelin’ the surf, move over to the turf! This espresso crusted ribeye is so delish. Pan seared in an iron skillet, topped with a sweet onion butter, and then torched, this meal has a major kick.
