Pork Dumplings from Mandarin Oriental (Buckhead)

What a week! We started celebrations last Monday at the Mandarin Oriental for a decadent Chinese New Year lunch. The menu was expertly designed to symbolize every aspect of the New Year- good luck, wealth, long life, prosperity, peace and harmony. The pork dumplings were representative of many of these symbols, which may have enhanced their flavor even more! A beautiful lunch at a beautiful restaurant, don’t let this Buckhead gem be forgotten on your business lunch rotation.

Heart-Shaped Doughnuts from Sublime Doughnuts (Midtown)

This year’s trendy Valentine’s food was…doughnuts! Bakeries had many different shapes and varieties to pay tribute to the day of love, but a heart-shaped pastry from Sublime cannot be beat. They shaped all their flavors in a beautiful heart, but our favorites were the cookies and cream, raspberry filled and Reece’s cup flavors! Even without the loving shape, these doughnuts are delicious all year round!

Double Burger from Grindhouse Killer Burgers (On Piedmont)

Grindhouse has now been in Atlanta long enough to be a burger mainstay. It’s almost overwhelming to look at their menu because you know everything tastes so good. Sometimes, it’s better to stick with the classic to be surely satisfied. A double grindhouse style calls for 2 beef patties, stacked with American cheese, grilled onions lettuce, pickles and Grindhouse sauce on their sweet signature bun. The burger is so good it tricks you into ordering a second helping…
