Best Things We Ate Last Week

BTWATW_Blog1c

You could say it’s always a feeding frenzy at Atlanta Eats’ HQ, but to us it’s just another hard day’s work. We’re sharing the best things we ate last week to give you some food inspiration for the week ahead. Check out AtlantaEatsTV oInstagramFacebook, and Twitter for a constant stream of pictures if this doesn’t quite cure your food porn fix…

Chicken Pesto Gnocchi from Pinocchios (Sandy Springs)

It’s been a while since a pasta dish has left us speechless. The Gnocchi from Pinnochios has done just that. Tucked away in a Sandy Springs shopping center on Roswell Road, Pinocchios makes you feel like you’ve walked inside a dear friend’s kitchen. (A dear friend who happens to cook incredible Italian dishes, that is!) Their Gnocchi is served either with creamy pesto and chicken or baked with meatballs and sausage. The decadence of the former with perfectly al dente pasta packed into a Corningware really takes it next level. There are many other fabulous dishes on menu- stay tuned for their feature on Atlanta Eats coming soon!

Rustic Veggie Pizza from Pieology (Johns Creek)

Enjoy the “Pie Life” with customizable pizzas, salads and desserts from Pieology! This sleek fast casual joint has come from California to join us in the Peach State. We tried the Rustic Veggie pizza with whole-wheat crust, house red sauce, olive oil, Mozzarella, Ricotta, green peppers, roasted red peppers, red onion, corn, garlic and fresh basil. Let’s just day we’ll be back at this Alpharetta location soon!

Margherita Pizza from Varuni Napoli (Midtown)

Varuni Napoli is almost 2 years old and we’re convinced their “new kid on the block” charm will never fade. From their classic Neapolitan pizzas like Margherita and Bianca to house made Limoncello and cannolis, they are ruling Monroe Drive. Luca joined Skye from Atlanta Eats on CBS to celebrate their superb spot- check out our segment on Atlanta Plugged In here!
