Best Thing We Ate Last Week

We’re sharing the best things we ate last week to give you some food inspiration for the week ahead. Murphy’s (Virginia Highlands)

Murphy’s has been an Atlanta restaurant staple for so long, it was even trendy in my grandparent’s heyday. After my brunch experience, I can see why the lines continue out the door. The brunch menu has everything from tired and true classics to unique never-before-seen creations. Everything looks and smells delicious. The real game changer is the basket of homemade biscuits, muffins served with an assortment of marmalades. This is not the place to hold back on calories- go for it and enjoy every last bite!

Pricci (Buckhead)

Another tried and true Atlanta institution is your destination for classic Italian, Pricci. It’s generally recognized by the standard serving of homemade breads with goat cheese in a marinara sauce, delicious al dente pasta with everything under the Tuscan sun and spectacular service. This time, I was impressed by something else altogether. We ordered the peach crème brulee for dessert and absolutely loved every bite. It was creamy, sweet but not too sweet and refreshing with the bites of berries to the side. If you see it on the daily special menu- don’t let the opportunity pass you by!

Tin Lizzy’s (Buckhead)

When Saturday morning comes along, you have a big decision to make- where do I watch college football all day? Tin Lizzy’s should be your answer. It has all the comforts of your house while giving you a break from the typical Saturday couch session. There are TVs everywhere with everyone on staff helping to get the right channel in front of you, pitchers of margaritas and beer and of course, chips, queso & salsa galore!
