Spring is in full swing, with food & music festivals, lobsters and oysters, plenty of patio parties, and fresh, seasonal menu items popping up all over the place!

VIVA SPAIN! WINES & TAPAS OF SPAIN

Tuesday, April 18 | 7:00pm | Vino Venue

Rioja. Cava. Sherry. Explore 7-9 Spanish wines, served alongside authentic tapas. At this wine tasting event, you’ll learn more about Spain’s wine regions and terminology while enjoying small plates of signature Spanish cuisine.

MEZZOGIORNO CELEBRATION

Wednesday, April 19 | 5:00pm | La Tavola

Take your tastebuds on a tour of Southern Italy – known to locals as Mezzogiorno – and experience the simple seafood dishes and rustic flavors of Italy’s hilltop villages and seaside towns. Starting this Wednesday, La Tavola is celebrating Southern Italian cuisine with a special seasonal menu full of a la carte items (think baked scallops, squid ink calamarata, and royal red shrimp fusilli), available in addition to their full menu. SAVOR AT THE LAKE HAPPY HOUR

Thursday, April 20 | 5:30pm | SAVOR Bar & Kitchen

One of Atlanta’s finest patios awaits! Sip on handcrafted cocktails as the sun sets over lake Rita, soaking up the final moments of the day to the tune of a live DJ. Small bites from SAVOR’s spring menu will be available, so kick back, relax, and allow the summer to sink in.

SAUSAGE MAKING CLASS

Saturday, April 22 | 10:00am | Pine Street Market

Some kids dream about taking a spaceship to the moon, or being a cowboy. But at Atlanta Eats, most of us dreamed about making our own sausage someday. And here’s our big break.

This Saturday at 10:00am, learn how to grind, case and cook your very own sausage. You’ll go home with a wealth of knowledge…and 2 whole pounds of your homemade sausage concoction. Class includes a lunch of beer bratwurst, country sides and beverages.

MUDDBUGGS & MUSIC FESTIVAL

Saturday, April 22 |  | 12 noon-8pm | Duluth Town Green 

We’re suckers for a good food & music festival! Muddbuggs & Music promises endless crawfish, exotic flavors, live music, and a beer garden…right in the heart of Duluth. Sponsored by Rock 100.5, Kicks 101.5 and the city of Duluth, this is a family-friendly event that is sure to be a good time for kids and adults alike.

THE OPTIMIST PATIO PARTY

Sunday, April 23 |  | 1-5:00pm | The Optimist 

Get fired up for a lobster-oyster grillfest! Sponsored by Lexus and executed by chefs Pat Pascarella and Drew Belline, you can look forward to half-roasted lobsters, mini lobster rolls and oysters served just about every way imaginable. The event will be set to a live music soundtrack, courtesy of Atlanta’s Wasted Potential Brass Band, with additional entertainment in the way of corn hole, putt putt and giant Jenga.

Tickets run at $50 per person and include food and two drinks (beer or wine) and valet parking. $5 drink specials, plus a full bar will be available for purchase. Buy tickets online.
