FAT TUESDAY PARTY

No need to go to New Orleans for Fat Tuesday when you’ve got a kick ass party going on right here at Hugo’s Oyster Bar! Starting at 7:00pm on Fat Tuesday, Hugo’s is hosting a crawfish boil to the tune of the Hotlanta Dixieland Band.

BOURBON TRAIL IN THE ATL

Who knew you could experience the Kentucky Bourbon Trail without leaving the ATL? Sponsored by Jim Beam Distillery and Dining Diva Events, this event includes a 4-course bourbon-inspired meal crafted by local chef Joe Marshall, with each course paired with a special bourbon. On the rocks, in a cocktail, or straight up, guests will enjoy their bourbon every which way, all while learning about the history of America’s more beloved spirit. $57. Oysters + wine = ❤️   This five course meal featuring – you guessed it – oysters, will feature wine pairings from Iron Horse Vineyards. The winery’s CEO will discuss the pairing selections while you feast on such delicacies as caviar, chawan sushi custard, Alaskan king crab, wagyu beef carpaccio, scallops, wine-braised veal cheer & chocolate cress pie.

BEER, BOURBON & BBQ FESTIVAL

Beer, bourbon and BBQ? Oh my! Head on down to Atlantic Station for a food festival filled with a few of our favorite things. Sip a beer, taste a ton of good bourbon (responsibly of course), smoke a cigar if that’s your thing, munch on some homegrown ATL barbecue, and listen to live music all day long. DRIFT FISH & OYSTER BAR “OYSTER 101” DEMONSTRATION

Sunday, March 5 | 2:00pm | Drift Fish & Oyster House

The sexiest seafood of all is at the center of this Sunday afternoon event. Join Executive Chef Doug Turbush and sous chef William Puryear and learn everything there is to know about oysters. Okay, maybe not everything. But a lot. Like oyster farming, oyster etiquette, and pairing oysters with wines and beers. All the while you’ll en joy a selection of raw oysters, oyster hors d’oeuvres and sparkling wines. Tickets go for $25 and are available online here.
