Atlanta Eats visits Flywheel Alpharetta & Avalon!

Atlanta Eats’ own Kimberly Shapiro visited Flywheel Alpharetta recently, here’s what she had to say about the studio + Avalon!

I had the greatest Sunday afternoon this past weekend that I had to share with all of you. It was the perfect combination of workout + lunch + girlfriend time + shopping! I can’t believe I can get all of this in one place!!

And because we at Atlanta Eats love you so much, we are willing to share this recipe for a perfect day:

Sign up for a Flywheel class at the new Avalon location and get a quick and intense sweat with an awesome instructor like Marisa who has the best playlist ever! Peel your girlfriend off of her bike, do a quicky freshen up/change and walk through the awesome Avalon Shopping Center for lunch at Marlow’s Tavern! (I actually stopped into Goldberg’s for the best hazelnut coffee on the planet on my way to Marlow’s, which has a fantastic tuna tartare and happens to be right next door). Have wonderful chat with girlfriend as you break down the shopping plan of attack, and then walk through Avalon (which is an awesome outdoor shopping center on steroids) and hit a few fantastic stores and maybe even a quick makeup application at the super cool little makeup store there.

Find a perfect new pair of jeans that look great on you (thanks Flywheel!) and enjoy your completely perfect day!

Flywheel is also the only indoor cycling studio to feature the state-of-the-art TorqBoard, a proprietary technology with on-bike and in-studio displays that show rider’s real-time performance data.  Every Flywheel bike communicates with the central system in the studio, including the TorqBoards, large flat screen displays at the front of every studio that show class leaders and allow for friendly competition.  After each ride, comprehensive performance data is stored and made available to riders on their “My Performance Page” at www.flywheelsports.com, facilitating individual goal setting and performance tracking.

About FlyBarre:

In addition to its innovative indoor cycling classes, Flywheel offers FlyBarre, a total body sculpting class that blends the best of light weight training, dance, and core strengthening exercises.  Using small intense interval exercises choreographed to contemporary and inspiring music, FlyBarre quickly reshapes the body for lean, strong, and elongated muscles.
