Bavarian Beer, Strolling With Wine and a Whole Mess of Hawg | Here’s What We’re Getting Into This Weekend

weekendcollage0926It’s the weekend y’all! And what a delicious one it will be. Here are our top picks for food events for the weekend of September 26th-28th.

Inman Park Restaurant Week: Through Sunday, September 28th enjoy $15, $25, and $35 menus from some of the best that Inman PArk has to offer. Participating restaurants include Rathbun’s Steak, Barcelona, Fritti, Sotto Sotto and more.

Oktoberfest at Der Biergarten: Through October 30th, Der Biergarten will be celebrating it’s annual Oktoberfest celebration. Expect German food, a whole mess of beer and maybe a dirndl or 3. And you can order a special commemorative stein for $20, which includes your first beer. And all year long bring that baby in for an $8 refill. Prost!

BeltLine Wine Stroll: On Saturday, from 1-5 PM, take a wine filled stroll down the BeltLine. 18 different venues along the east side portion of the train will offer sips and snacks. This year’s line up includes: Two Urban Licks, Authentique, King of Pops, City Issue, The Albert, Savi Urban Market, Pure Taqueria, Fritti, Star Salon, Barcelona Wine Bar, Nandina, Parish, Little Organic Market, Beltline Bicycle, Lady Bird Grove and Mess Hall, Irwin Street Market, The Luminary, The Collective, Serpas and Kevin Rathbun Steak.

Whole Hawg Happenin: BBQ, beer and Bluegrass will invade Marietta Square on Saturday, September 28th. Enjoy a day of family fun and a whole mess of pork. Admission and parking is free. Tasty BBQ and a variety of other foods will be available. Tastes of BBQ will range from $.50 – $5.00

Saltyard Calm Bake: On Sunday, September 28th, Saltyard will be celebrating the coming of the new season with a clambake. Tickets include all you can eat clams, shrimp, linguica, potatoes, corn, carrots and rolls. Various sides served as well.  Sip on $3 Sweetwater beer and $5 wine while listening to local favorites Mudcat. Tickets available here.

All Chef’s Dinner: Can’t figure out where to go for dinner? Why not choose all of them?! On Sunday, September 28, the Castellucci Hospitality Group will host its third annual All Chefs Dinner at Double Zero Napoletana. The evening will feature 10 courses created by chefs from The Iberian Pig, Double Zero, Sugo and Cooks & Soldiers. Reservations are required and you can call 404.991.3666 to secure your spot.
