Grab & Go For Your 4th of July Picnic
This holiday weekend will be full of friends, family and, of course, food! Whether you’re tired from the Peachtree Roadrace or you just have better things to do, there’s no reason to be stuck in the kitchen all day! Below are 5 Atlanta restaurants that are offering their goods to go for your picnic under the fireworks.
Terminus City at Gunshow
Atlanta will finally get a taste of Kevin Gillespie’s long awaited BBQ restaurant, Terminus City at Gunshow. On July 4th and 5th, the whole hog ‘cue will be available for dine in or take out. Doors open at Noon and it’s first come, first serve. So get there early!

The Bishop
The newly opened Avondale Estates’ restaurant is packing picnic baskets to-go for the 4th. These baskets will include smoked fried chicken, deviled eggs, fresh watermelon and more…plus complimentary cookies and sparklers! Plus, wine growlers!
Cafe at Cakes & Ale
The Café at Cakes & Ale will be open on the evening of Friday, July 4 and offering “grab and go” seasonal sandwiches, lemonade, iced tea, iced coffee and peach, currant, blueberry trifles with vanilla whipped cream for guests to enjoy on the Square in Decatur before and during the fireworks show.

Bantam & Biddy
All locations offer catering, family meals and picnics-to-go for those who want to bring their Southern-style meats and veggies to their own grill outs. Whole smoked or fried chicken, fingerling potato salad with grainy mustard, watermelon and feta salad, black-eyed peas and tomato salad, and cornbread and lemon bars will all be available to take to off-site festivities.

D.B.A. BBQ
It’s the 4th of July, and you want some BBQ! D.B.A will be offering two takeout options; smoked wings (25, 75, & 250 count) and the Tailgate Package (Pulled pork, St Louis ribs, bone in half chicken, baked beans, potato salad, cole slaw, mac and cheese and banana pudding, sternos, and stands) that will feed 15.
