Mara Davis’ list of the 6 Best New Restaurants Poppin’ Up in the ATL

When new restaurants make a debut there’s always some hesitation about whether they are worth a try. Who better to cover the best new places that are worth the visit than Mara Davis herself? In this Bert Show segment, she lets us know what dining spots just opened and are too hot not to try.

Bar Mercado (Krog St. Market)

Mara says this place is a brand new HOT HOT HOT spot with Spanish inspired tapas, cuisine, and wine list. Located in the Krog Street Market, it is definitely a place to try for dinner!

C. Ellets (The Battery)

Award-winning Chef Linton Hopkins, who also owns Holeman and Finch, opened this new steakhouse that is offering modern American dishes that are delicious and worth the reservation.

Mary Hoopa’s House of Fried Chicken & Oysters (East Lake)

From the owners of One Eared Stag, one of Mara’s favorite places in Inman Park, this southern inspired cuisine spot will be opening soon for you to get your fried chicken and oyster fix on!

Strange Taco Bar (Lawrenceville)

From the people who brought us Local Republic in Lawrenceville, they also opened up a spot that is offering strange yet delicious tacos.

Blue Top (Chamblee)

Known for being family friendly and having interactive entertainment, this restaurant in the heart of Chamblee has a creative American menu that is a must to add to your list!

Spring (Marietta)

Bon appétit rated this place one of best new restaurants which is a big deal people! It has a small, limited menu which helps Chef Brian So focus on fresh, new dishes that are absolutely delicious.
