6 Atlanta Restaurants Where You Can Ball Out On A Budget

Written by  Jessica Pierson.

If you’re like us then you like to EAT, and eat a lot. If you’re also like us, then you don’t necessarily want to break the bank every time you want a burger. While the Atlanta restaurant scene is home to some pricier spots that are well worth the extra dough, there’s also some cheap eats that serve some dang good food when your rent check is due! Here are our favorite places that will keep both your stomach AND your wallet full.

Taqueria Del Sol – Corn Chowder & Tacos

Taqueria Del Sol

This place is never not good. From the fried chicken tacos to the shrimp and corn chowder, you really can’t go wrong here. At roughly $3 a taco, you can visit this place multiple times a week (and trust me you will). It’s so good, there’s usually a line out the door, but don’t let that scare you from eating all the queso and enchiladas of your dreams.

The biscuit breakfast from Lovie's BBQ
Lovie’s BBQ – Biscuit Breakfast

Lovie’s BBQ

Home of some drool worthy barbeque and wallet friendly prices is Lovies BBQ. This place serves up some bangin brisket that will leave you wanting more. And because of their prices, you can have more and more and MORE. Get the brisket biscuit or pulled pork sandwich for a good meal that’s guilt free.

BonYou
Victory Sandwich Bar – BonYou

Victory Sandwich Bar

If you’re on a budget, then you absolutely have to go to Victory Sandwich Bar. They serve killer sandwiches that will only cost you $5. And yes you heard that right, FIVE DOLLARS. Get the Hambo Sandwich full of ~fancy~ ingredients like prosciutto and arugula that will make you feel like royalty without having to pay the price.

Vero Pizzeria - Margherita Pizza
Vero Pizzeria – Margherita Pizza

Vero Pizzeria

There are few things better than a pizza from Vero Pizzeria. Get the Margherita pizza for only $14, and split it with a friend to save even more money. And with the wide variety of toppings offered, you can make your pizza just the way you want it. Whether you want to share with your friends or want the whole pizza to yourself (we don’t judge), we can guarantee your wallet and your belly will thank us later. So go to Vero and get yourself a PIZZA that!

Chicago style hot dogs at Black Bear Tavern
Black Bear Tavern – Chicago Style Hot Dogs

Black Bear Tavern

If you are really craving a burger, but don’t want just a boring burger, head over to Black Bear Tavern, a homestay for Chicago fans. There you can find 12 different burgers, all really tasty, none super expensive. Their hot dogs are also delish! So grab some buddies and go watch your team win some football. And if your team loses, lucky for you! You’ll at least have some great grub to comfort you.

Uptown burger with fried egg available at TavernPointe
Tavernpointe – The Uptown Burger

Tavernpointe

For a more decadent, yet still inexpensive restaurant, we recommend Tavernpointe. Everything on the menu is under $30, and they offer a great variety within their menu. Whether you want carnitas tacos, an awesome burger, or chicken and waffles, this place is great for you! Tavernpointe is perfect for all kinds of events, whether you’re having a birthday party or going on a first date, you want to go here.
