What I Eat

Chefs and restauranteurs have their fingers on the pulse of what’s hot, what’s new, and where is about to be the new place to be seen — so where do they go when they’re not in their own kitchens?

Alex Brounstein – Grindhouse Killer Burgers

The founder of this burger joint lives in the Old Fourth Ward and likes to support businesses in that part of town. Whether it’s Ammazza Pizza, P’Cheen, Victory Sandwich, Barcelona Wine Bar, or one of the new places that seems to spring up every month, you’ll find Alex close to home.

Mike Greene – Matthew’s Cafeteria

The owner of Matthew’s Cafeteria lives out of the city, but lucky for him there’s no shortage of good mexican and pizza places in his neighborhood. Mike says his wife’s a great cook, so staying home is a great option, too.

Jennifer Tiberia – Sprig

Jennifer tells us that Atlanta has so many new restaurants popping up in the city’s phenomenal dining scene there’s always somewhere to try. She likes Seed in Marietta, No. 246 in Decatur, and 4th and Swift in the Old Fourth Ward. Her kids, though, would be fine eating pizza or steak every night.

Steve DiFillippio – Davio’s Northern Italian Steakhouse

Steve gives shout outs to some of the other great places to eat in Buckhead. You’ll find him making reservations at Chops, Bones, Del Frisco’s, the Palm, or any of Buckhead’s amazing restaurants.
