You know a place is good when there’s a line out the door, and since Emerald City Bagels opened, there’s been a line every morning patiently awaiting a delicious bagel or bagel sandwich. We heard the story of mother-daughter owners Deanna and Jackie Halcrow, saw the process for making these holey delights, tasted their mouth-watering, made-on-site seltzers, and got up close and personal with meticulously crafted bagel sandwiches.
Bacon, Egg and Cheese
It’s a bagel shop classic and it’s better than ever at Emerald City. We got ours with the jalapeno cheese bagel to give it a spicy kick.
Whitefish Salad Bagel
The NY deli classic, this whitefish salad is made with dill cream cheese and red caviar. All served with a bagel of your choice – in this case, we went with poppy seed.
The pastrami on this sandwich is so thinly sliced it feels like it’s melting in your mouth. Top that off with a little cheese and mustard on an everything bagel and we’re set for breakfast.
