The story of Breakfast at Barney’s all starts in a name. Owner Barney Lee Berry, Jr. never really loved his name, until he realized that it made him stand out from the crowd. Well, that and his food of course. With a background from Glenville, GA Barney knows southern comfort food and brings it for the many customers lining outside the door of his downtown ATL restaurant. Breakfast at Barney’s is a restaurant that celebrates black excellence – from the owner, to the staff to the dishes that represent black culture’s beautiful – and delicious – history.
