This place may be called Double Zero, but it deserves 10’s across the board for the fantastic modern Italian cuisine it serves. Not only do they make authentic Neapolitan pizzas in their impressive ovens – they make their pasta fresh, on-site every day. Don’t be fooled by the “Old Italy” vibes from the food options, Double Zero is modern and energizing with its neon decor, great drink options, and some of the freshest Italian entrees in the area.
Springer Mountain chicken meatballs over a bed of polenta with garlic, Pecorino Romano cheese and puttanesca red sauces to top it off – these meatballs are the perfect thing to share while waiting for the main course.
This Mezzaluna is freshly made (watch the show to see how they do it) and comes with celery root, Asiago, sage, sherry, walnut, hen of the woods mushroom and beet.
This is a pizza with the flavors (and colors) of Italy throughout. Made with Siano fior di latte and topped with Italian sweet and hot peppers, San Marzano tomato, Mortadella olive tapenade and pecorino, this is a pie worth pigging out on.
