There is something special about this barbecue joint. No frill, but Pig-N-Chik supplies a lot of flavor and unique menu items. This place has a cult following and fans are religious about their favorite orders. We love their oversized portions of chopped bbq, sides like hushpuppies, corn off the cob and mac and cheese, and desserts like chocolate cream pie as well as vintage Moon Pies. This is what barbecue in the south is all about. We’re glad there are three locations so we’re never too far from our BBQ favorites.
This can be ordered by the cup, pint or quart. Good thing there are bigger options because this hearty stew got us hooked!
Sliced brisket is served with 2 choices of sides and a piece of thick Texas toast. We recommend the Mac and cheese and fried okra to go with this smoky, well seasoned meat.
Pig N’ Chik’s salmon can be served cold, hot or smoked and is served with 2 sides and a piece of Texas Toast. Broccoli and collards are our choice of side for this plate!
