It’s the South’s Oldest Rivalry, and now it’s the tastiest!

On Saturday, November 15th both pride and waffles will be at stake for UGA and Auburn as they meet on the field. Waffle House  and it’s partners Royal Cup,Basic American Foods, C.H. Guenther & Son have put a bet on the game; whoever comes out victorious will earn free coffee, waffles and hash browns for their fan base. Waffle Houses in both Athens and Auburn have agreed to pony up the goods to the happy and hungry students.

And it’s not only the scattered and smothered love that the winning school will get. The victors will also receive $15,000 towards the general scholarship fund.

Update: UGA won! That means Athens area students will get free coffee, waffles and hash browns this Wednesday on behalf of Royal Cup Coffee
