Check out some of our favorite kid friendly spots below.

1. Vintage Pizzeria

We think Vintage Pizzeria is the perfect spot when you’re looking for ooey, gooey, cheesy pizza and pasta or fresh salads that are also affordably-priced. There’s a chalkboard wall at the Dunwoody location that kids will love drawing on, and mom and dad definitely shouldn’t miss out on the Blue Pie, a pizza made with a craveworthy combo of diced chicken, spicy wing sauce, blue cheese, ricotta, and a smattering of spices. YUM!

DAS BBQ

2. DAS BBQ

DAS BBQ is our go to for all things fun and good BBQ. Their Grant Park location has a newly renovated patio with tons of room for hanging out with the little ones. They’ve got cornhole, giant jenga and other activities that are fun for the kids (and really the adults, too!) From delicious sides like mac and cheese and potato salad to the main event like chopped chicken sandwiches and BBQ tacos, they’ve got a little something for everyone.

Folk Art Biscuits & Gravy

3. Folk Art

Offering up some of the best Southern food ITP, Folk Art is moderately-priced, outrageously good, and family-friendly. Come for a weekday lunch as the weekend wait can err on the long-side, then follow up your visit with a family walk or bike ride on Freedom Park Trail and the Beltline. We love, love, love their biscuits and gravy. Valet parking available!

4. Revolving Sushi Factory

Now hear us out, we know when you think of sushi you don’t immediately think “oh this is something my kid would like” but Revolving Sushi is different. First of all, there is a conveyor belt that runs from the kitchen through the dining room so you can constantly watch new and fresh menu items coming out. If that’s not enough to mesmerize a five year old, they also have little robots that deliver food to your table. They have chicken nuggets and fries on the menu in case the kids aren’t feeling adventurous and wanna try something new, and we can almost guarantee they’ll love the mochi for dessert!

5. Flower Child

This adorable, fast-casual spot doesn’t sacrifice on freshness or taste, making it a great place to bring the kids for a healthy meal. They’ve got a kid’s menu that has a gluten-free mac and cheese that even the pickiest eaters will love, and there’s great wine and beer offerings for mom and dad as well! Try one of their wraps or bowls, or make your own creation.

BonYou
Victory Sandwich Bar

6. Victory Sandwich Bar

Victory is another one of those spots that’s great for just the adults, but when you have the whole gang with you, it’ll still accommodate and everyone will be happy. This sandwich spot has a cool interior with bar and table seating and a ping pong table if you’re just hanging out, and they also have plenty of outside seating, too. Pop in for lunch, dinner, or if you just want a snack and a spot to hang with a good vibe, that’s always an option too. It’s delicious, affordable, and the portions are small so one sandwich will be the perfect size for your little ones.

quesadilla from Gezzos

7. Gezzos

Gezzo’s is run by the Hsu family and if you have ever been to any of their other restaurants (Humble Pie, Sweet Auburn Barbecue, the list goes on) you can bet this one’s gonna be great too. On the West Side, Gezzo’s is serving up fresh, cantina style food and boy is it good. From bowls and tacos to burritos and appetizers, everything here is delicious and filling. This is another spot with great outdoor space, both on the patio and in the breezeway between the neighboring restaurant, with plenty of places to sit. They’ve got swings that the kids will love, a special ice cream window, and kid faves like quesadillas and nachos.

8. How Crispy Express

Summerhill is such a great area and loaded with places that both kids and partens are bound to love. How Crispy Express is a quick and easy spot to take the kids. Walk up to the window and place your order of chicken sandwiches, nuggets, mac and cheese, or any of their other delicious menu items. The inside is small but take it out on the patio or sit in the common area behind How Crispy. Once you’re all done chowing down on some chicken, take the kids down to Big Sofie for a sweet treat!
