Bulk Meat, Seafood, Disinfectant, & Specialty Items: 5 Grocery Store Alternatives

Last updated May 12, 2020. Please refer to restaurant websites for updated information, as hours and openings are changing rapidly.

While the selection may not be as comprehensive as your local big-box grocery store, these specialty markets and pop-up shops may have some specialty items, harder-to-find items, and a less crowded shopping experience.

1. Sysco and Proof of the Pudding’s Pop-up Stock-up

One of the best steals in town! SYSCO, a wholesale distributor to a whole litany of amazing Atlanta restaurants, has started hosting Pop-up Stock Up Shops in partnership with Proof of the Pudding all over town. You simply drive up, place your order on a piece of paper, add it to your dash, and then they’ll fill up your car with all sorts of goodies. They’re selling restaurant quality meat and seafoods in bulk, plus difficult to find items like toilet paper and disinfectant. Find more information here! They’ll be hosting pop-up shops this Saturday, May 16th at the Greek Orthodox Cathedral of the Annunciation at 2500 Clairmont Road!
