5 Hot, New Restaurants Opening in Atlanta This Summer

It’s finally summertime. The weather is hot and sunny, so why would you want to stay inside and cook? Instead, get out of the house and go try one of these 5 new amazing restaurants! They are guaranteed to make you want to want to visit them all summer long.
1. Hawkers
New in the Old Fourth Ward is Hawkers, an Asian restaurant that will make you feel like you’re on the streets on SE Asia. Asian street food is some of the best, and they’re bringing it to Atlanta on June 3! They have everything that you could dream of from Korean Twice-Fried Wings to Pad Thai and all the way to Miso Ramen. This is a great place for all things Asian and we’re so excited to have it in Atlanta! Try the Spare Ribs, they’re our favorite!
This popular food truck just opened a take-out only restaurant in the Westview neighborhood on May 31st. It will be open only on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, but the food truck will continue to be able to be booked Tuesday through Sunday. They have all of their delicious pizzas and sandwiches and a new addition of hummus bowls are on the menu. If you’re looking for some FIRE pizza then you gotta stop by here on the weekend!
3. Little Rey
Ford Fry has done it again! The famed chef and owner of other favorite Atlanta restaurants like JCT Kitchen and St. Cecelia, has opened a new Tex Mex restaurant on May 27th. This new place is called Little Rey, and it is located in the Piedmont Heights Neighborhood. It is serving up some killer Chicken Al Carbon as well as all kinds of yummy tacos. They are also serving breakfast, so get ready to eat here for every, single meal!
4. The Select
A new 1920’s inspired American/ European Restaurant has recently joined the Atlanta restaurant scene! Located in Sandy Springs, The Select is serving up some major food porn. The Select’s cuisine ranges from Alaskan King Crab to steak frites, and everything in-between. And we can’t forget about their top notch drink selection! With a long list of wine, beer, and cocktails, there is a drink for everyone. This is definitely a place you’re gonna need to try this summer!
This vegan food truck is brand-new and serving “good azz sandwiches & more” all over ATL! Vegan food lovers will delight in the ATL Shawty hot dog served with two bean chili, grilled onions, slaw, not-cho cheese sauce and the hot boxed un-lobstah roll.
