Best Thing We Ate Last Week

BTWATW_Blog1c

You could say it’s always a feeding frenzy at Atlanta Eats’ HQ, but to us it’s just another hard day’s work. We’re sharing the best things we ate last week to give you some food inspiration for the week ahead. Check out AtlantaEatsTV oInstagramFacebook, and Twitter for a constant stream of pictures if this doesn’t quite cure your food porn fix…

Loaded Fries from The Painted Pin (Buckhead)

Many people know about underground gaming venue, The Painted Pin, but not everyone has ventured to taste their way through the menu. From tuna poke to all types of tacos, everything we’ve ever tried from The Painted Pin is delicious. Although, their loaded fries are a stand out. These potatoes are first crisped to perfection then smothered in cheese, bacon, scallions and sour cream. It’s hard to beat such an indulgence!

Lamb Sliders from Rumi’s Kitchen (Sandy Springs)

If you’re familiar with Persian culture and cuisine, you’re acutely aware of the fact food takes center stage. Rumi’s Kitchen honors this in both atmosphere and menu execution. We are confident you could never order the wrong thing at Rumi’s. Flavors are bold yet they don’t overpower the dishes. One of our favorite picks for an appetizer (that you could even make your meal) is the lamb sliders. Homemade flatbread is topped with ground lamb, roasted tomato, mint, pickled red onion and cucumber yogurt for an artistically enjoyable plate.

Nachos from Three Dollar Café (Sandy Springs)

If you ever drive down Roswell Road, construction and traffic are ever-changing, but the crowd at Three Dollar Café is always consistent. Football season may be over, but it’s worth stopping in for your favorite food accompaniments. Their wings are top notch and their grilled chicken nachos take it over the top. They’re cheesy, spicy, crunchy and absolutely worth every calorie. Pro tip: make sure you go with a crowd of people- if not, you’ll end up eating this massive plate of nachos all by yourself!
