BTWATW_Blog1c

You could say it’s always a feeding frenzy at Atlanta Eats’ HQ, but to us it’s just another hard day’s work. We’re sharing the best things we ate last week to give you some food inspiration for the week ahead. Check out AtlantaEatsTV oInstagramFacebook, and Twitter for a constant stream of pictures if this doesn’t quite cure your food porn fix…

Green Velvet Cake from Piece of Cake (Buckhead)

We’re programmed to think green food is isn’t as appetizing as just about any color of the rainbow, but we assure you this green dessert is ahead of the pack in terms of tastiness. Piece Of Cake is known for their phenomenal cakes and cupcakes so it’s no wonder their “festive red velvet” for St. Patrick’s Day holds its own!

Mint Chocolate Cookies from Debbie’s Delights (East Point)

If you want homemade food done right, head to East Point for any dish on Debbie’s Delights’ menu. From salmon croquettes to chicken & waffles, owner Susan Harris knows her way around a southern kitchen. The specialty we can’t get enough of- her baked goods! For St. Patrick’s Day, Susan went all-out with these Andes Mint chocolate chunk cookies. They were every bit as delicious as they sound!

Beet Salad from Kale Me Crazy (Sandy Springs)

Sometimes you have to balance out the indulgent with the healthy. Luckily, Kale Me Crazy opened their 4th location not too far from the Atlanta Eats office so we can have a wholesome alternative to high caloric lunches. On this visit, we tried their beet salad with spinach, arugula, tomato, raw beets, walnuts, cucumber, sunflower sprouts, goat cheese, hemp seeds, honey Dijon vinaigrette and a custom add-on of quinoa. This type of meal makes you immediately feel more energetic and happy- go test it out yourself!
