The Guacapotle from Grub Burger (Cumming)
Whether you try a “Guacapotle” burger or a pile of fries loaded with jalapenos, pineapple and Dr. Pepper BBQ sauce, you’re going to like what you taste at Grub Burger. This ain’t your average burger shack! The Guacapotle is one of our favorite signature items- what could be bad about a cheeseburger crafted on a fresh homemade bun topped with a mound of fresh made guacamole? Pair this with one of their Patron margaritas and you’ll be in great shape.
Taqueria Del Sol (Cheshire Bridge)
Taqueria Del Sol’s tortilla chips and all the fixings are exactly what you need for a lunch or dinner starter. Their queso is the best in the land, their guacamole tastes like you teleported to Mexico and their margaritas are sure to give you a buzz after your second sip. If this isn’t one of your restaurant staples, it needs to be. (Disclaimer: make sure to bring friends/family when you go. If you go solo, you may be forced to eat unlimited baskets of chips without any help).
Asian Salmon Salad from Fickle Pickle (Roswell)
The line may be out the door every single day, but it does not stop the crowds from coming to enjoy a homemade lunch at Fickle Pickle. A southern staple to the Roswell community, don’t miss out on favorites like fried pickles, red velvet cookies or peach sweet tea. Another can’t miss: the Asian salmon salad. It’s simple, flavorful and healthy. Order a side of sweet potato fries to create just enough balance for that midday meal.
