Best Things We Ate Last Week

BTWATW_Blog1c

You could say it’s always a feeding frenzy at Atlanta Eats’ HQ, but to us it’s just another hard day’s work. We’re sharing the best things we ate last week to give you some food inspiration for the week ahead. Check out AtlantaEatsTV oInstagramFacebook, and Twitter for a constant stream of pictures if this doesn’t quite cure your food porn fix…

Mac N Cheese from The Establishment (Midtown)

We don’t claim dishes as “#1” too often, so we’ll just say the Baked Goat Cheese Mac from The Establishment is a top contender. You need to add this to your Atlanta restaurant list ASAP! We enjoyed hearty portions of this side at our Epicurean Beer & BBQ event, but no worries, The Establishment keeps their signature mac on the menu every day. Head over to their Colony Square location and try a skillet or two for yourself.

Lemon & Blueberries Buttermilk Frozen Yogurt from Jeni’s (Krog Street Market)

If you tend to skip dessert for health reasons, now you need to come up with another excuse! Jeni’s released a new flavor of frozen yogurt (Lemon & Blueberries) and it is the REAL deal! Cut calories by ordering a cup instead of a cone 😉

Shrimp and Grits from The Corner Grille (College Park)

Shrimp and grits is a dish of pride in the south and The Corner Grille adds a lot of love and Cajun influence in their recipe. In turn, this has remained the most popular dish on the menu and only 1 of 2 dishes that are offered all day (the other is Chicken & Waffles). Check them out Tuesday- Sunday for a meal packed with flavor and will keep you full all day. (The Nabaa’s joined me on Atlanta Plugged In this week and will air on Atlanta Eats this Sunday, August 14th at 10:30 a.m. Peachtree TV)!
