BTWATW_Blog1c

You could say it’s always a feeding frenzy at Atlanta Eats’ HQ, but to us it’s just another hard day’s work. We’re sharing the best things we ate last week to give you some food inspiration for the week ahead. Short Rib Croquettes at MADE Kitchen & Cocktails (Alpharetta)

Served on a bed of tangy romesco sauce, the Short Rib Croquettes at MADE are one of the standout tapas to order! MADE is the new kid on the block in Alpharetta, but they are already earning street cred with their bevy of small plates; this one being our favorite on the menu. The only way to describe them are as crispy, piping hot, and oddly addicting. Pro tip: order as many plates of them as there are people in your party because trust us, you’re not going to want to share.

Pulled Pork “Sammich” from 521 Kitchen & Que (Buckhead)

The Pulled Pork sammie from 521 in Buckhead has quickly become one of our absolute favorites. Smoky, juicy, and topped with a Kale slaw (gotta keep it healthy), this sandwich really packs a one-two punch of down-home BBQ flavor. 521’s pork is slow smoked and you can really taste the difference. All of their homemade barbecue sauces compliment the smoked meat perfectly, but the spicy hot sauce takes this to the next level.

Beef Carpaccio from Atmosphere Bistro (Morningside/Piedmont Heights)

One of Atmosphere’s signature dishes, the thinly sliced and perfectly seasoned Wagyu beef Carpaccio is a can’t-miss starter to a truly unforgettable dining experience. So much more than your average Carpaccio plate, Atmosphere’s paper-thin cuts of high quality meat are drizzled with organic olive oil, topped with freshly grated Parmesan cheese, and served with lemon and peppery arugula. It’s to die for!
