The Spookiest (And Yummiest) Celebrations Happening in Atlanta this Halloween

A frightfully fun Zombie Disney party and an a-MAZE-ing day trip to Buford Corn Maze are just some of the spooky celebrations happening this Halloween in ATL. Keep reading for our recommendations on where you can have the most fun this spooky season!

1. Punch Bowl Social’s Zombie Disney Halloween Party

Get your Halloween celebrations started early with this Zombie Disney themed Halloween party. The celebration starts at 9pm on Saturday, October 26th and lasts until 2am! Be sure to sample their “Hayride Hooch” seasonal punch, only available through the end of October, that features rye whiskey, cassis liqueur, raw apple cider and fresh lime juice, garnished with gummy worms that will warm you right up. 

2. Il Giallo’s Gialloween Celebration

Celebrate “Gialloween” with this classic Italian spot in Sandy Springs on Sunday, October 27th. The night begins at 6pm with an open bar and food throughout the restaurant plus a live band and DJ. Wear a costume and you might even win a $100 prize! Event is 21+. 

3. Grant Park Halloween Lantern Parade 

Grant Park’s annual Halloween Lantern Parade returns on Friday, October 25th, from 6pm – 10pm. Make a lantern and walk the parade or build your own while you’re there for $20. Be sure to check out our Atlanta Eats Restaurant Finder for Grant Park restaurants to try out while you’re there!

4. Venkman’s Ghostbusters Halloween Dance Party 

Kimber is the DJ at this Nonsense ATL party, happening at Venkman’s right by the Beltline and Historic Fourth Ward Park on October 31st. What’s Nonsense ATL? According to their Facebook page, it’s “Indie, electro, house, anthems, weird-ass surprises, artists, smart people, costumes, glitter, confetti, questionable decisions made while drunk, dark rooms, making out, dancing in ridiculous ways, you.” Sounds like our type of spot. Wear your best costume and get ready for some Halloween debauchery! 

5. Buford Corn Maze 

Take a day trip out to the Buford Corn Maze for some pumpkin spice fun, any weekend between now and November 10th! Great for families, the corn maze has plenty of fun fall activities for the kids like hayrides, a petting zoo, and bouncy castle fun. Tickets start at $13 and kids 3 and under are free The Haunted Forest is surprisingly scary and we’d totally recommend going for the combo ticket!. Be sure to stop by Tannery Row Ale House while you’re there!

6. Iberian Pig Decatur’s Murder Mystery Dinner & Show

Iberian Pig in Decatur will be hosting a Murder Mystery Dinner & Show! For $75, you’ll get to enjoy family style tapas, and WHOLE roasted pig carved table side with all the fixings! The theme is “Totally 80’s, Totally Murder'” so break out your leg warmers and acid washed jeans for this frightfully fun event. Happening October 31st at 6:30pm. More info here!
