Many Atlanta Restaurants Choosing to Stay Closed for Dine-in

Last updated April 22, 2020. Restaurant hours and services are changing rapidly; please refer to restaurant websites for more updated information as time progresses.

Here’s a list of some of the restaurants who, as of April 21st,  have chosen to stay closed for dine-in services out of an abundance of caution. We suggest supporting them, if you feel comfortable at this time and have the means to, through takeout or curbside pickup (while wearing a cloth face covering per CDC guidelines), ordering delivery and tipping generously, purchasing gift cards, donating to any GoFundMe’s they are running, purchasing any merch they are selling, or making a donation to Giving Kitchen, a local nonprofit that supports food service industry workers who are suffering from mandatory quarantine due to COVID-19, illness from COVID-19, death of an immediate family member, other injury or illness, or housing disaster.

As you all know, Governor Kemp announced yesterday that Georgia restaurants are allowed to reopen next week. While we are eager to get back to “business as usual,” we do not feel it is safe to open our doors quite yet. As much as we are ready to put this tough reality behind us, we truly believe we need to do it as safely and as thoughtfully as possible. This decision is not taken lightly. The safety of our community and beloved team members has been and will always be the priority and our guiding line. We are working very hard to plan our safe reopening but we do not have a set date yet. We will post as soon as we do! Thank you for your tremendous support throughout this crisis. Please continue to stay safe and healthy. . . . #israelicuisine #foodie #atlfoodie #AtlantaBeltline #israelifood #atliens #poncecitymarket #beltlineatl #oldfourthward #atlbucketlist #fordfactorylofts #atlfoodie #exploreatl #discoveratl #exploreatlanta #atlantaeats #atlantarestaurants #mezze #appetizer #appetizers #rina #rinaatl #discoveratlanta #atlantarestaurants #atlanta

Despite the Governor’s announcement, out of concern for the health and well being of our staff and our guests we have decided to wait to open our doors for dine in service until after the predicted peak of cases passes in Atlanta. While we are experiencing a 90% decrease in sales, we believe that putting people first is in the best interest of everyone. This is an incredibly difficult decision, because we miss our guests and a restaurant full of people and our staff is anxious to get back to work. We will continue to offer takeout, delivery, family meals, groceries and feed the frontline in the safe environment that has become our new normal. Thank you for your continued support and our hope is that everyone stays safe and healthy. We look forward to the day when we can offer dine-in services safely.

Starting tomorrow, we’re switching things up a bit… We don’t feel like giving corona virus any more attention so instead of following the path of COVID-19 to pay homage to different countries’ cuisines, we’re just gonna pick whatever damn country we want each week! Our upcoming menu will be a hybrid mashup of two countries at once, places my sous chef and I have family roots, cuisines which are dynamic & delicious but also under appreciated & under represented in the mainstream. Be on the lookout for our menu tomorrow! ✈️❤️🤍💚🍴💙💛❤️ . As always, we’ll be taking orders over the phone only from Wednesday – Sunday between 10:30 am – 8 pm for pickup any of those same evenings between 5 – 8 pm. Give us a ring at (404)500-5396! Please note: our phone DOES work and IS in service – if you get a weird message, it’s because our line is already in use (and our phone is stupid). Just you try us again and we’ll get you taken care of, we promise! ☎️🥰🤗 . We’ll have plenty of delicious wine, beer, spritz kits, cider… whatever you need for your thirst! Make sure to grab a beverage when you get food! 🥂🍻🍸🍶🍾 . If you want to give us some extra help, you can buy @brosdotfamily designed merch and look awesome FOR ONE MORE WEEK from our @booster.spirit.wear online store that @lexmckelvey set up! LINK IN BIO! You can also send us a donation or buy a gift card via our Venmo account @littlebearatl – simply include ‘donation’ or ‘gift card’ plus your full name and email address in the transaction memo, please. We love you! 🙏🙌😘 . Stay safe, stay strong, stay kind, keep fighting, fuck COVID-19! 💪💕🐾🐶
