The Best Dine In Movie Theaters in Atlanta

When it comes to dine-in movie theaters, the experience has traditionally been something subpar. Moviegoers had to settle for popcorn, some candy, and nachos with cheese of unknown origin. Over the past few years, customers have been asking for more out of their movie theaters. Thanks to some innovative new movie theatre/restaurant hybrids popping up across the country, customers can now get more out of their movie ticket. We’re highlighting a few business below who have mouthwatering menus that you can enjoy while watching the latest Marvel or Oscar winning movie on screen!

A burger from CMX Cinebistro.

1.CMX Cinebistro

Multiple Locations

You can find the CMX Cinebistro at the Halcyon in Alpharetta and Peachtree Corners Town Center. They both have full bars where you can get margaritas, martinis, mules and more before the show and bring to your seat, along with a server to assist you during the movie. Look for an elevated gastropub menu with tacos, burgers, queso and brownie sundaes (for something sweet).

Steak Skewers from Ipic Theatres.

2.IPIC Theatres

1197 Peachtree St NE Suite 350, Atlanta, GA 30361
(470) 893-8525

iPic is a national chain that is attempting to corner the market in luxury theatre dining experience, and the menu reflects that. In addition to the most comfortable chairs on the market, they have a globally influenced menu that has items like Tandoori Chicken Skewers, Loaded Fajitas Steak Fries, Pizzas, Burgers and Spicy Tuna on Crispy Rice, to name a few. We have a sweet tooth, so our favorites could be found on the dessert menu, where you can find everything from Tres Leches with Berries and Cream to Chocolate Chip Toffee Cookies, Mini Ice Cream Sandwiches and more.

Thin crust pizza available at Movie Tavern.

3.Movie Tavern

Multiple Locations

Movie Tavern is in three locations around Metro Atlanta, including Suzanne, Roswell and Tucker. They may have the most solid pizza compared to other dine in theaters, with a thin crust pie that can have anything from Buffalo Chicken to pineapple and ham. The dessert menu is also fairly indulgent, with options like Banana Bread Pudding, a Chocolate Chip Cookie Sundae and Strawberry Short Cake.

Flatbread from Silverspot Cinemas

4.Silverspot Cinema

960 Battery Ave SE Suite 5000, Atlanta, GA 30339
(678) 504-7600

A new addition to the Battery, there’s plenty of great food around the stadium, so why eat in the theatre? Because the food at Silverspot is just as good! Try chef driven menu items like Disco Truffle Fries, Smash Burgers, Fish Tacos and flatbreads, along with mains like a coconut jasmine rice bowl, miso glazed salmon, cajun shrimp and grits and a skirt steak with delicious chimichurri. They also have a full cocktail list, so set up a perfect ballpark pregame with drinks, food and a movie, then get outside and watch the game!

A burger from Studio Movie Grill.

5.Studio Movie Grill

Multiple Locations

With locations in Duluth, Alpharetta and Marietta, there’s plenty of places you can go to try Studio Movie Grill. What separates them from the other folks on this list is their burgers. The Roasted Poblano Bacon Burger is worth coming back for, even if you have to watch the same movie twice, and the BBQ Bacon Cheddar Burger is nothing to sleep on either. Bring your appetite the next time you buy a ticket at Studio Movie Grill.

Pizza from The Springs Cinema and Taphouse

6.The Springs Cinema and Taphouse

5920 Roswell Rd Suite C-103, Sandy Springs, GA 30328
(404) 255-0100

A locally owned business based out of Sandy Springs, the Springs Cinema and Tap House lives up to their name, with nearly 20 well curated beers on tap, tons of spirit options and a hearty wine list. The food is fantastic and perfect for eating while not taking your eyes off the screen, with options like pretzel bites with beer cheese, a buffalo chicken wrap, smoked pork sliders, grilled cheese, pizzas, funnel cakes fries and much more!
