You could say it’s always a feeding frenzy at Atlanta Eats’ HQ, but to us it’s just another hard day’s work. We’re sharing the best things we ate last week to give you some food inspiration for the week ahead. Check out AtlantaEatsTV on InstagramFacebook, and Twitter for a constant stream of pictures if this doesn’t quite cure your food porn fix…

Salmon Potato Cakes from Canoe (Vinings)

Salmon Potato cakes from Canoe

One of the dishes this Atlanta legend is known for! Salmon smoked in-house is sliced & then draped over a layer of Vermont goat cheese atop a crispy potato cake. If you’re a texture kind of foodie, this is for you! The crunchy potato & the creamy goat cheese with the salmon slice is the perfect bite. If you’re flavor kind of foodie… this is also for you! Smoking the salmon in-house makes a huge difference, allowing for a tender, fresh & uber flavorful bite. Combine that with fresh goat cheese and crispy, salty potato cakes for a flavorful bite out of this world!

Patty Melt from Venkman’s (Old Fourth Ward)

Patty Melt from Venkman's

Venkman’s knows how to get their bread that perfect golden brown, buttery kind of toasted, and it’s displayed on the rye bread on the patty melt! The house ground hamburger meat is so juicy and loaded up with American cheese, caraway butter-poached onions & mustard! If this doesn’t make you drool, we aren’t sure what will.

Chilean Sea Bass from Nahm Thai (Alpharetta)

Nahm Thai fish

Order this dish just how you want it: lightly battered & crispy fried, pan seared with snap peas & coconut in a minced shrimp basil sauce, OR pan seared with mushrooms, spinach & garlic in a ginger sauce. We got ours with the ginger sauce and were soooo pleased. However, either way is guaranteed to be delish! Not only is this dish tasty, but beautiful too. Just look at that showstopper!
