Best Things We Ate Last Week

btwalw_600x400

You could say it’s always a feeding frenzy at Atlanta Eats’ HQ, but to us it’s just another hard day’s work. We’re sharing the best things we ate last week to give you some food inspiration for the week ahead. Check out AtlantaEatsTV on InstagramFacebook, and Twitter for a constant stream of pictures if this doesn’t quite cure your food porn fix…

Double Coronary Bypass Burger from The Vortex (Little 5 Points & Midtown)

Our hearts couldn’t handle the flavor from this helluva burger from The Vortex. Not one, but TWO patty melts are used as the buns, making this burger all together 16 oz. of ground sirloin, 12 slices of American cheese, two fried eggs, 12 strips of bacon, and 4 oz. of mayo. And if that doesn’t fill you up to capacity, the rest of the plate is covered with crispy tater tots topped with Cheesy-Cheese Goo and bacon bit sprinkles. You’re gonna wish your stomach was bigger to eat all this deliciousness!

Poke Bowl from True Food Kitchen (Buckhead)

True Food Kitchen wowed us with their Summer 2017 menu. All the vibrant colors and flavors made each dish taste like sweet summertime. We still can’t stop thinking and drooling about their Poke Bowl. Complete with wild caught albacore, avocado, quinoa rice, mushrooms, snow peas, radishes, cucumbers, cashews and turmeric ponzu sauce, it’s both healthy and delicious. Hurry and go try one before the seasonal menu changes!

Peach Galette from Wahoo! Grill (Decatur)

Fresh Georgia peaches from Pearson Farm are part of what makes this dessert from Wahoo Grill so amazing. The fruit is baked to perfection in the pastry shell for prime caramelization, then topped with fresh whipped cream and pistachio dust. If you look up the definition of scrumptious, we’re almost certain that a picture of this Peach Galette will pop up!
